Flying above Manhattan...

A rare few words...

My entries during the weekdays are going to be pretty boring -- when it comes to work, it's a tight lid. The weekends should be better! For example, this weekend, I'll be doing volunteer work at a Soup Kitchen in Harlem, ...

I have nothing much I will (can) say about work here, except that I'm enjoying it. An interesting observation: for me, it's less stressful than school -- I cherish the greater separation of work and non-work. Back during college, (school) work followed me (you) everywhere -- "should i be doing my reading?", "HOMEwork", etc. When it comes to work, I do it all at the office and don't bring any of it home!(HEY! Not that I don't want to, but confidentiality issues, etc ;) ). Point is, work never shadows me back -- perhaps thoughts of it do, but honestly: doing well at work isn't rocket science. You do what you're told without error, you do it better than what's expected of you, you improve on the process, you are initiative, and most importantly, you work on being well received by your team. If your teammates like and support you, you can never fail.

That's pretty much all I'll ever say about work.

I do most of my online activities out-of-work through my phone, i.e. when I'm commuting to and from work, during breaks, etc. I am currently living with a young couple -- and they add color to my life (their relationship drama, but they are really nice to me). We have 3 dogs: Max, Melvin and Baby. You met Max a while ago -- he's the pug.

Overall, I am happy. And I most certainly hope you are too.

Last (but not least -- oh so cliche), Happy Birthday to a very special individual! Hugs and many kisses.
